Communication from our Provincial Prior
To All Knights Templar of Kent

Our Provincial Prior, RE Kt Kessick Jones, K.C.T., has received a most important & prestigious promotion in the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons and the Ancient & Honourable Fraternity of Royal Ark Mariners, to the office of Grand Director of Ceremonies.

Many of you will be aware that he already holds that equivalent office in the Grand Council of the Allied Masonic Degrees. He is also the Deputy Grand Master in the Grand Council of Royal & Select Masters.

Considering the significant increase in workload resultant from the Mark appointment, the ME&S Grand Master has agreed that after eight very successful years as Provincial Prior for Kent, RE Kt Jones may retire from that position.

It is therefore with great personal regret that RE Kt Kessick John Jones, KCT, announces his retirement from the Office of Provincial Prior for Kent with effect from Monday 11th June 2012. From that date VE Kt Peter McIntyre will be Provincial Sub-Prior in Charge, until the new Provincial Prior is Installed at the meeting of Provincial Priory on 7th July 2012.

The Appointment of the new Provincial Prior will be announced in due course.

RE Kt Jones will carry out his very last official function as Provincial Prior at the Installation Meeting of Holy Trinity on Saturday 9th June, at which it is hoped as many of his Active Officers, and other Comrades in Arms will attend him.
